Maritime patrol / anti-submarine warfare
The P-8A Poseidon is a maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft based on the Boeing 737-800ERX, sharing 86% commonality with the 737 Next Generation airframe. It is operated by the US Navy and multiple allied air forces.
Maritime patrol (export variant)
The P-8I Neptune is the Indian Navy export variant of the P-8A Poseidon, based on the same 737NG platform.
VIP / cargo transport
The C-40A Clipper is a US Navy VIP and cargo transport based on the Boeing 737-700C combi variant, with a strengthened floor and large cargo door.
